While reading Paul Johnson's book, Socrates, I came across this observation by Confucious: (and I'm sure I paraphrase here...) We should be so intent on learning that we fail to notice that we are getting older. I love this idea....and recommend the book for many other reasons.
Okay...I've tried to post three times...until I get this right, I have nothing to say about retirement except that I would have never had time to experiment with this if I had to do lesson plans...
